International Congress of the Société de Pathologie Exotique

The International Congress of the Société de Pathologie Exotique will take place from 25th to 28th january 2010 in Ventiane, Laos, on : Health challenges in Southeast Asia.

Session 1:
Towards the control of malaria, tuberculosis and AIDS

Session 2:
The burden of autochtonous parasitic diseases (paragonimiasis, clonorchiasis, opistorchiasis, schistosomiasis, angiostrongyliasis, gnathostomiasis…)

Session 3:
The spectrum of bacterial diseases (typhoid fever, cholera, melioidosis, rickettsiosis, leptospirosis, Streptococcus suis infections...)

Session 4:
Emergence and re-emergence areas (SARS, avian flu, paramyxovirus infections, arbovirus diseases, outbreaks of acute encephalitis in the north Vietnam, bio-ecological consequences of development, the SISEA project…)
