Tattarillo international thesis award

The Tattarillo Award is an international BA, MS, and PhD Thesis award organized by Engineering Without Border - Florence in cooperation with the "Environmental Councilor of the Municipality of Florence" on the theme of appropriate Technology for Sustainable human development.
Main objective of the Tattarillo Award is to encourage technology students and the scientific community to research themes related to development sustainability in any "South-of-the-World" contexts, where such expression is meant broadly, encompassing any reality where human development and access to resources is limited, independently of geographical location, or reasons (historical, political, economical or natural). In particular, specific objective of the award is to investigate, develop and spread the concept of "Appropriate Technology", intended as a mean for sustainable and autonomous development of disadvantaged areas and contexts.
