An international cooperation
International cooperation inherent in research activities
The main research issues for development are now of a global dimension (pandemics, climate, migration, etc..). Also, research cannot be done alone but in partnership with other teams to mobilise the wide and varied skills and to bring together the critical mass needed to advance knowledge.
In addition, development research is driven by the ambition, within the framework of the partnership, to contribute to strengthening of the South’s scientific capacity and by contributing to the enhancement of economic research for the benefit of the South.
Finally, international collaborations are needed to place the work in the international competition for research. The co-publications with partners are the guarantee of the quality of the work produced.
