Sciences au sud - IRD periodical
Launched en October 1999, Sciences au Sud is IRD's periodical.
It is distributed at 15 000 copies and the number of requests grows regularly. The abstract for the international issue exists in english, spanish an portuguese. The fiftieth issue of Sciences au Sud was published in July 2009.
Through its sections, the periodical offers a panorama on: researches interesting developing countries in all the disciplines; the modes of organization of this research; the expertise, the transfer of the results of research; the training and the support for the Southern teams.
It addresses a vast public: staffs of the IRD, the scientific and institutional partners in France and abroad, the journalists, the students, the teachers, etc.
