As part of the French Presidency of the European Union (FPEU), the IRD and the CNRS are organising an event in Brussels on 29 June on the theme "Imagining a new scientific partnership between Africa and Europe".

The event will be held at the Palais des Académies in Brussels. It aims to bring together high-level representatives of the African and European higher education and research ecosystems. The objective is to contribute to the emergence of good practices and new ways of cooperating, which are fair and sustainable for the two continents.

The meeting will attempt to provide ideas that take into account the contemporary challenges and issues set out in the strategic objectives of the African Union and the European Union.

The event will be available in English and French.

You are invited to participate in this event remotely.
