Sustainable and reliable tools to control zoonotic diseases in Zimbabwe

Following the upgrading of a biomolecular lab thanks to the CAZCOM project, the launch of the PACMAN project strengthens the autonomy of Zimbabwe to control animal and zoonotic diseases.

Wanda Markotter, a professor at the University of Pretoria and a partner of IRD researchers in Zimbabwe, coordinates the field trip and oversees the students taking samples on bats.

Zimbabwe: Research carries on, from laboratory to remote working
