From May 15 to 19, the Climate Solutions Fair was held in connection with the 79th Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) at the United Nations in Bangkok. The event was an opportunity for IRD to present its climate research activities in Asia and the Pacific.
The Climate Solutions Fair brought together all the Commission's member states. The theme of the event was "Accelerating climate action in Asia and the Pacific for sustainable development". At the France stand, the IRD presented its projects for knowledge acquisition and decision support in the fight against climate change to the delegations present. These projects were divided into three nexuses:
- Climate & Biodiversity
- Climate & Atmospheric Pollution
- Climate & Natural Disaster Management
