From May 15 to 19, the 79th Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) will take place at the United Nations in Bangkok. The theme of this meeting is "Accelerating climate action in Asia and the Pacific for sustainable development". On this occasion, IRD will present some of its research projects to fight climate change.
Next week, the 79th session of the ESCAP is taking place, which gathers all the representatives of the member states of the Commission. The theme of this meeting is "Accelerating climate action in Asia and the Pacific for sustainable development". As such, IRD will present its projects of knowledge acquisition and decision support against climate change in Asia and the Pacific.
The projects will be declined according to three nexuses:

- Climate & Atmospheric Pollution
- Climate & Natural Disaster Management
The IRD will be present at the French stand supported by the French Embassy in Thailand.
