The IRD has dispatched two representatives to the Pacific.
In this region that stands out for its exceptional biodiversity and that is also particularly threatened by planetary changes, the IRD acts in a wide range of disciplinary fields: oceanography, terrestrial and marine natural resources, mines and natural hazards, health, society and environment, and so on.
