The POS plays a key role in consolidating the Institute's external influence, reputation and legitimacy, as well as in nurturing a common culture for its staff and close partners. Its time frame coincides with that of the new international agenda adopted in September 2015 by the United Nations concerning Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
