The second edition of the structural training project "TADIDA: fieldwork training course in Vietnam" (PSF TADIDA 2024), co-organised by IRD, Hanoi University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU), the University of Social Sciences and Humanities of HCM-City (Viet Nam National University of HCM-City), and the Ecole Française d'Extrême-Orient was held from 15 to 24 July at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities of HCM-City and in Nui Chua National Park (Ninh Thuan province).
The training was run by Emmanuel Pannier (PALOC/IRD), Truong Thi Thu Hang (USSH-HCM-ville), Olivier Tessier (EFEO), Le Thi Ngoc Phuc (USSH-HCM-ville), and Truong Van Mon (USSH-HCM-ville). It lasted 10 days and was divided into three parts: preparatory interventions on the methods and theories used (2 days), field survey (5 days), data processing, analyses and restitution (3 days).
The training attracted 22 participants from universities and research institutes in Northern, Central, and Southern Vietnam.
