Let’s disseminate science!

The IRD-CNRS-CIRAD joint office in Southern Africa organizes several scientific culture events each year. Their objective is simple: bringing science to all and create dialogue between society and scientists.

In 2019, public conferences were the opportunity to exchange views on the themes of the ocean, agriculture or paleoanthropology.

The French-South African Science and Innovation Days were also an opportunity to dialogue with students, innovators and private sector employees on the challenges of science today.

Exhibitions are also a great way to disseminate science, as it was the case in Maputo, Mozambique, in September 2019.
