The IRD and its partners participated in the French language week in Harare, via an online conference on French-speaking research carried out in Zimbabwe.

On the occasion of the International Francophonie Day (on 20 March), Francophonie stakeholders in the Zimbabwean main city organized a series of online events from 15 to 20 March.

The French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development was a partner of the event.

Florian Liégeois, virologist at IRD, participated in the conference dedicated to research carried out by francophone players in the country. After a general presentation of IRD's missions, he introduced the research themes covered by the IRD in Zimbabwe, and its main partnerships.

The public then watched the CAZCOM project film.
